Mark "Chook" Lovekin
Executive Director
Mark is an accountant by profession and in his earlier career obtained diverse experience in Chief Financial Officer and General Management roles. Eventually moving into Management Consulting, Mark has since gained an eclectic set of financial, business, management and consulting skills.
Having worked throughout Australia with national, international and multi-national organisations such as Sheraton Hotel Group, Toyota Australia, National Australia Bank, JBWere, Wesfarmers and Woodside, Mark has gained a wealth of corporate knowledge and understands the complex dynamics of organisations.
Mark's personal experience and subsequent studies into cognitive overload have provided him with an empathetic and intellectual grasp of human cognitive capacity in the workplace and the impact of information overload and time/resource constraints on individuals and teams.
More commonly known as "Chook", his fondly-bestowed nickname was given to him during his colourful hockey career and has been explained as originating because "he plays hockey like a chook with its head cut off!" But Mark has a quick mind, a lot to say and is passionate about the value of being organised.
