ORGANISED 1ST TESTIMONIALS

RON BENNETTS - JBWERE
Organised 1st promised a significant increase in productivity and a better balance in our private lives and delivered both with minimal pain. ... Absenteeism is down 50% ... Quality is up 43% ... Eighteen (18) Months after implementation everyone's still applying the key principles daily and 98% said workplace stress had decreased.

GETSMART CONSULTANTS - CHEVRONTEXACO
Think about what can happen when all individuals in a company are in a well-organised state. That is the foundation which allows them to meet their goals and deliverables and improve their relationships with customers and suppliers. Organised 1st is the best solution I have seen to make this an achievable reality. It has been designed for the current business environment and works simply, efficiently and effectively.

PETER HEINRICH - ST GEORGE BANK

In 32 years of management I haven’t seen an initiative like this result in such a major change in workplace culture so rapidly and positively. Employee attitudes have been dramatically enhanced, business is up 70%, quality is up 20% and customer satisfaction has improved immeasurably. This all happened in a few months, without needing any increase in staffing levels or other related changes and the trends continued thereafter.

KEITH SPENCE – WOODSIDE

The collective efficiency and effectiveness benefits are obvious, but don’t underestimate the power of this for the individual. In the last couple of months since being Organised 1st, I’ve had normal operational management duties and there have been a couple of real big issues; I’ve had a major share market presentation; I’ve had about 30 performance reviews to do; etc and I’ve achieved it all with minimal stress.

BARRY JONES – APPEA, CANBERRA
Brilliantly bloody simple.

TRACEY HARDING - MAGISTRATES COURTS AND TRIBUNALS
I'm moving to another section within this organisation and will be using Lotus Notes and not MS Outlook. Will your system still work there as I love it and don't want to have to live without it. (Note: the answer to Tracey's question was that it would work and the transfer was painless)

PERSONAL ASSISTANT EMAIL SENT TO 120 OTHER ASSISTANTS IN THE COMPANY
I’m an organised person anyway, but I’ve been "Organised 1st" and find it absolutely brilliant. It brings together all the "to do" lists: in the head; notebook; desk; e-mail; etc and there’s no new software. It’s being used widely across the Oil Business Unit and is flowing into other units. It's used by all levels, from admin assistants through to Keith Spence (CEO).

DELEGATION TESTIMONIAL
Not only has one of my direct reports found the clarity to delegate, this was made possible by the increased capacity to delegate to someone given the efficiencies generated within the team.

FREMANTLE DOCKERS FOOTBALL CLUB
How's this for an endorsement of your services - the staff are talking the new staff into it! So let's jump onto this enthusiasm and schedule a training session for all of the new people. (Note: The results speak for themselves - This was the 1st year they've made the finals ... this was the 1st year they made a substantial profit ... this was the 1st year they were Organised 1st.)

DENIS RAMANAH – DISABILITY SERVICES COMMISSION
Whatever help you require to get into any other government department then feel free to use my name.

HEALTH SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT MANAGER
After tasting it for myself, I can see the direct and indirect HSE benefits and will start by implementing my full team.

STATEWEST CREDIT SOCIETY - CEO and 2IC
This has made me 50% more effective ... This is very rich in benefits.

RUSSELL WARD - WOODSIDE
The basics of Organised 1st allow our team to ensure we are working the highest priorities in our role of optimising the total production system. Personally, this buys me hours each week in processing efficiencies and better choices

EMPLOYEE PERSPECTIVE - ST GEORGE BANK
This isn't just good, it's fantastic. Believe it or not, I even enjoyed myself more when I was sick than I normally do. I knew within a very short time of being back to work then I would be back on top and that was very comforting when I was ill.

MIA BANASIEWICZ - WOODSIDE
Just thought I would write a few words about how Organise First is working for me. I no longer feel like I am missing anything important, I am not as stressed as I previously was, I'm feeling in control - and that is making my life both easier at work and at home; and most of all, I am sleeping straight through the night (something that hasn't happened for years!). Basically just one satisfied customer!!!

MARIE ALVER - JBWERE
I am a member of the Subiaco Business Council and would like someone from Organised 1st to come along to a breakfast that we have monthly and be the speaker for the morning. I am a true convert.

MARK PALMER - JBWERE
The best acknowledgement is I no longer come in on Sundays and reduced my golf handicap from 16 to 11 in 3 months.

CSI CONSULTING COMPANY
We've been working with DSC and Woodside and they have both been raving about what you've done for them and thought we better have a closer look.

ANDREW FOSTER - JBWERE
My working day is now far more structured and this has helped to improve my productivity and general comfort level at work.

ROB MALE - WOODSIDE
It's great to know that I can email something to my colleague over there and know that it will be dealt with properly.

VARIOUS @ TWW
It's a refreshing manner of delivery ... You won me when you said that it wasn't a course and that we will be straight into doing rather than talking ... This gives me much more control over my life ... This is just getting better and better ... I'm loving this ... This gives me much more clarity ... It's the icing on the cake for the 'already organised' ... This has changed my life. I've done things before but this is (he was lost for words) ... 100% more in control, with further improvement to come ... Has helped me to manage my future issues easier ... it will be great when everyone is doing it ... I would like to do my team ... Other teams need this big time ... everyone would significantly benefit.

A CEO VISITING A STATE OFFICE THAT WAS ORGANISED 1ST
There is a wonderful peaceful efficiency about this place.

OTHERS INDIVIDUAL PERSPECTIVES
I didn't think I needed this, but I’m glad I have done it. A clear desk, a planned day/week and focusing on one task at a time have made me significantly more productive.

Just a quick note to say thank you for organising me. I was a bit sceptical to start with but will not look back now. Much more organised, am doing more work, and feel a lot happier leaving work each day with the peace of mind that I haven't forgotten to do anything.

I'm not the most Organised 1st person - however just having a consistent system or framework that I can always go back to helps to reduce a lot of stress.

I guess that it is probably a true assumption that most people think they are more organised than they really are. Regardless of what level of being organised a person is at, the Organised 1st program can be of positive benefit to anyone, and if diligently adhered to, can provide great benefits in enabling greater efficiency gains, and generally enabling one to feel more in control of what is usually a very hectic working and home life. The principles espoused by the Organised 1st process have universal application, and I wholeheartedly endorse the fact they contain benefits for anyone who is serious about being Organised 1st.

Although I would classify myself as an organised person, Organised 1st has helped me to efficiently and effectively master a difficult role.

I have adopted the Organised 1st process with enthusiasm, realising the benefits of saving time, achieving greater productivity, arriving at decisions quickly and being able to refer to past, present and future Documentation at will. I am practicing to become a better Organised operator and am refining my techniques daily.

Organised 1st has made a material difference to my work efficiency and my ability to focus on the one thing at a time. It also makes walking out the door at the end of the day easier knowing there is a plan to deal with the workload. Having just spent the best part of two weeks away, the usual 200 plus emails and bits of paper await however after a morning spent going through this I already feel in control again, with little outstanding. Happy to recommend this approach to all.

It has changed the way I view my desk. I am no longer comfortable with piles of paper stacked up around me. At the end of the day, I can see what I have achieved and I feel that I am completing my tasks in a more timely fashion. Organised 1st is a state of mind. I am no longer worrying about missed tasks. I can concentrate on what I am working on without trying to remember everything else that I need to do.

Prior to the implementation of the Organised 1st process, my desk space was permanently hidden beneath mounds of paper and files, my in tray was constantly overflowing and my email inbox contained hundreds of messages. I now have a system to quickly and efficiently process work in-flows on a clear and uncluttered desk. The Organised 1st system has helped me ensure that tasks are dealt with and are not buried in a paper mound as well as providing a process to ensure my days are planned effectively giving me more thinking time to apply to tasks that will add the greatest value to my work.

I can honestly say that since committing to the Organised 1st process, I have found coping with my day-to-day workload much easier and I feel much more organised. I have found that keeping less visible work on my desk has actually increased the amount and improved the content of my work. It is a process that I have found easy to work with and very effective. Thanks to you all and in the words of Jake Blues, I have seen the light.

A number of people have now done over 500 'Daily Self-Assurances' (DSA), which speaks for itself.

It simply feels great after a DSA to go home and know that I've got it all covered. Sure tomorrow will change, but at least I will get a good nights rest and be in a position to promptly change, where appropriate to do so, tomorrow.
