The-5-Keys

30 years ago people put tasks in timeslots within their physical diary, between meetings. It was simple and worked.
 - But things sped up and re-writing unfinished tasks onto a new day was annoying.
 - So people started a separate task list and over time many little lists evolved:

  • Calendar meetings
  • Task list
  • EMAIL ITEMS
  • Notepad items
  • Family/private issues
  • Post-it notes
  • In-tray Items
  • Goals on the wall
  • Ideas in the head
  • Files/paperwork
  • Missed Calls
  • SMS,  Voicemail etc

UN-knowingly, frontal lobes (brains) get clogged merging the above random lists.
 - Frontal lobes drive personality, planning, judgment, creativity - all are suppressed.
 - The resulting loss of Time, 'Cognitive Freedom' and Teamwork is now unnecessary:
